Heather was born and raised in the Lane County area. She studied in the Family and Human Services program with the Education Department at the University of Oregon, and worked in the public sector as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Family Advocate for over 15 years. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Portland State University. Heather is excited to be working as a Clinical Social Worker Associate in an integrated health model where she is able to focus on the mental well being of the patients at Springfield Family Physicians.  Heather enjoys adventures with her family and often travels to experience new places.
