Alabama born and raised, Alejandro Colmenero PA-C is a full spectrum Family Physician Assistant focusing his career on providing quality, individualized care to his patients. He loves reaching his patients on a deeper level by building a relationship based on trust and honesty. He thrives in breaking down barriers to care for his patients and maximizing their mental and physical health. He fully embodies a team approach to medicine with on-site behavioral health, clinical pharmacists and fellow providers to achieve patient goals and positive outcomes. Prevention and education are critical to family medicine and one Alejandro thoroughly enjoys. 

He achieved his EMT-Advanced and his Bachelors of Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. He spent 5 years working heavy rescue and with the ambulance serving those in need of emergency services in his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama. He furthered his medical training by attending a Physician Assistant program at South University in Savannah, Georgia. 

After training, the mountains and ocean called him to Oregon and he has never looked back since. You can often find him hiking, surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing or enjoying all Eugene has to offer with his wife and 2 dogs.
