Dr. Yumi is a full spectrum osteopathic family physician with special interests in preventative medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, and LGBT health including initiation and management of gender affirming treatment. Dr. Yumi welcomes patients of all ages from all walks of life, and employs collaborative approaches to health and wellness when caring for her patients. Dr. Yumi earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA, and completed family medicine residency at Kent Hospital and Thundermist Health Center in Rhode Island. She is a graduate of Smith College, and holds a Master of Public Health degree from Brown University. She spent two years as a medical student in Eugene/Springfield area, and is thrilled to return and join the thriving local medical community.   

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Yumi enjoys the outdoors and can be found hiking the Cascade foothills with her family and her beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback.
