Dr. Williamson completed medical school at the University of New Mexico, then left her home state for the Pacific Northwest to complete her residency in comprehensive family medicine at OHSU in Portland. She then decided to stay in the Pacific Northwest and came to Springfield. She loves being a family physician for all ages from newborn to elderly, with particular interests in pediatrics, women's health, mental health care, and comprehensive care. She thrives on working with each patient as an individual and working together to find the best plan of care for each person. 

Outside of work, she enjoys canoeing and hiking with her husband and dog, running, knitting, and singing.
