Ben Paynter, PsyD

Ben received his doctorate from Pacific University with a focus in health psychology. He completed his internship at the Pittsburgh VA and residency at Strong Integrated Behavioral Health in Eugene. His training and experience has focused on the ways that mental and physical health impact each other, with specific experience in working with chronic pain and chronic illness.

Ben takes a patient centered approach and provides brief psychotherapy for individuals coping with a variety of different medical and psychological diagnoses. While he works from a cognitive behavioral (CBT) approach, he will collaborate with both you and your medical providers to create a treatment plan consistent with your goals. He also implements neuroplasticity training for presenting concerns involving chronic pain and mild traumatic brain injuries.

In his free time he enjoys fly fishing, running, and researching the perfect breakfast burrito.
