Zachary Horwitz, MD

Dr. Horwitz has taken a more winding journey to medicine. He previously was a Massage Therapist and taught Anatomy and Physiology at a massage school for several years. Because of this, he carries a deep love of anatomy and the body as a whole in his practice. He graduated with his Medical Doctorate from the University of Colorado and completed his Residency in Family Medicine at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver Colorado. In addition to his medical training, he completed a certificate course in Osteopathic Manual Therapy from A.T. Stills in Kirksville Missouri allowing him to blend his background with his medical training in the form of manual therapies. He is passionate about musculoskeletal medicine and the mind body connection.

When not at work, Dr. Horwitz and his wife can be found outside hiking on trails, running through the woods, skiing in the mountains, paddle boarding on lakes, and exploring all the wonders of nature. The abundance of nature surrounding this community is a part of what drew Dr. Horwitz and his wife to Oregon. He also enjoys photography, board games, and cooking for his friends and family.
